Phuket gezimizin ikinci durağı Rawai bölgesinde yer alan The Vijitt Hotel‘di. Rawai bölgesi Phuket’in en ucunda yer alan bölgeye verilen isim. Planımız, bu otelde kalırken Old Town, Panwa ve Kata bölgelerini gezip bitirmekti. Bu oteli tercih etme nedenlerimizin başlıcaları ise, bütçe dostu bir otel olması, mimarisinin Tayland mimarisine sahip olması ve otelin sağladığı ulaşım gibi bazı olanaklardı. Nitekim otele giriş yaptığımız andan itibaren beklentimizin epey üzerinde bir konforla karşılaştık.
English: “The second stop of our Phuket sightseeing tour was The Vijitt Hotel that situated in Rawai. Rawai region is the name given to the region where situated in most tip of Phuket. Our plan was to visit the Old Town, Panwa and Kata areas, while staying in this hotel. The main reasons for choosing this hotel are that it was a budget-friendly hotel, has Thai architecture and were some possibilities like transportation provided by the hotel. As a matter of fact, from the moment we entered the hotel, we met with much comfort over our expectation.”
Odaların her biri birbirinden ayrı villalar şeklinde tasarlanmış. Otelin peysajı ise gerçekten muhteşem. Hayatımda gördüğüm en uzun palmiye ağaçlarını sanırım burada gördüm.Onun dışında çoğu bitkinin altında ne olduğu ve nereden geldiği yazıyor. Adeta bir botanik bahçede gezer gibisiniz.
English:“Each room is designed as separate villas. The hotel’s landscaping is truly spectacular. I think I saw here the longest palm trees I’ve ever seen in my life. Also, under many plants, writing as a information what it is and where it comes from. It’s like you’re walking in a botanical garden.”
Otelin içerisinde ulaşımı yine minik golf arabaları ile sağlayabiliyorsunuz. Aslında mesafeler yürüme mesafesinde ama sıcak bastırdığında yürümek bazen zorlaşabiliyor. O nedenle biz epey kullandık bu arabaları.
English:“Within the hotel you can also get transportation with tiny golf carts. In fact, it is sometimes difficult to walk because of hot weather even though the distance is within walking distance. That’s why we used these golf carts.”
ODAMIZ – OUR ROOM; DELUXE POOL VILLA
Bali gezimizde kaldığımız odaların her birinin havuzlu villa şeklinde olması bize çok büyük bir keyif vermişti. Daha fazla mahremiyet ve kolaylık sağlıyor. O nedenle buradaki odamızı da bu şekilde seçmiştik. Odamız çok ferah ve kullanışlıydı. Yatağımızın hemen önünde açılan teras havuza çıkıyordu. Cibinlikli yatak ise her zaman bana sempatik gelen bir şey olmuştur 🙂
Bu otelde de size her gün bir meyve tabağı ikram ediliyor, aynı zamanda su ve çay da ücretsiz. Ancak minibar ücretli!
English:“It was a great pleasure for us that each of the rooms we stayed in Bali was in the form of a pool villa. It provides more privacy and convenience. That’s why we chose our room in this way here. Our room was very spacious and useful. Canopy bed has always been a sympathetic for me.
This hotel also offers you a plate of fruit every day, as well as free water and tea. But the minibar is toll!”
Odamızın en güzel kısımlarından biri de terasa açılan bu küveti idi. Hemen yanında ise bambularla çevrili bir alanda bulunan açık alan duşu yer alıyordu. Havuzdan çıkıp bu duşu rahatlıkla dışarıdan da kullanabiliyorsunuz.
Otel odalarının birbiriyle bağlantısı olmamasının en güzel kısımlarından biri de sessizlik ve sakinliği idi. Kimse kimseyi görmüyor ve duymuyor. Terasta bir öğlen uykusu çekeyim derseniz etrafta çıt yok. Bu gerçekten güzel bir hissiyat! Sanırım o nedenle biz en çok bu otelde vakit geçirip bu otelde dinlendiğimizi hissettik.
English:“One of the most beautiful parts of our room was this bathtub that opened to terrace. Right next to it there was an shower in the open-air an area surrounded by bamboo. You can also use this shower from the outside when you get out of the pool.
One of the best parts of the hotel rooms not being connected was silence and calmness. Nobody sees or hears anybody. If you want to take a nap on terrace, there’s no sound around. It’s a really nice feeling! I think, that’s why we spent the most time in this hotel and we felt that rested at this hotel.”
HAVUZ ALANI – POOL AREA
Planladığımızın aksine burada kalırken çok fazla dışarı çıkma isteğimiz olmadı. Çünkü hem hava çok sıcaktı hem de otelin havuz alanı çok davetkardı. Upuzun palmiyelerle çevrili kocaman bir havuz alanı vardı. Serinlemek için ideal! Hemen yanında bulunan restorandan da istediğin gibi yemeğini söyleyebiliyorsun. Ben durmadan soğuk hindistan cevizi suyu içtim 🙂 Tependeki ağaçtan kesiyor, soğutucu da soğutuyor sonra kafasını kesip içine pipet takıp sana veriyor. Gerçekten çok organik 🙂 🙂
English:“Contrary to what we planned, we did not want to go out too much while we were here. Because the weather was very hot and we preferred the hotel’s pool area. There was a huge pool area surrounded by palm trees. Ideal for cooling! You can also order your meal at the restaurant right next door. I always drunk cold coconut water . 🙂 They cut from the tree, cool it, then cut the head and put the pipette into and serve it you. Really very organic :)”
Şezlong alanı oldukça fazla, ama biz en arkadaki loca kısımlarında yatmayı tercih ettik. Burası için ayrıca bir ücret falan ödemiyorsun, boş bulduğunda kapıyorsun 🙂
English:“The sunbed area is pretty big, but we prefer to sleep in the back part, of the loge. You do not pay a fee for this, you get it when you find it empty.”
YEME & İÇME – DINING AREAS
Otelde en çok The Beach Bar‘ı deneyimledik. Happy Hour zamanı canlı müzik de yapılan barın kokteyllerini çok beğendik.
English:“We tried mostly drinks at The Beach Bar in the hotel… We liked the cocktails of the bar, which is also happy hour live music.”
Otelde havuzun yanında hem kahvaltı servisinin verildiği hem de gün boyu yemek yiyebileceğiniz The Savoury adında bir restoran yer alıyor. Biz genellikle burada atıştırmalıklar deneyimledik. Her damak zevkine hitap edebilecek çeşitte yemek bulabilirsiniz.
Bunun yanı sıra çok güzel bir bahçe içerisinde konumlanmış ve Thai mutfağından seçme lezzetlerin sunulduğu Baan Vijitt‘te romantik bir akşam yemeği yiyebilirsiniz. Ortamı gerçekten çok güzel. Önünde küçük bir gölet, etrafında palmiyeler ve deniz manzarası yer alıyor.
English:“The hotel has a restaurant called The Savory, where you can have breakfast and dinner or lunch all day. We usually ate snacks here. You can find food for every palate taste.
In addition, you can have a romantic dinner at Baan Vijitt, which is located in a very beautiful garden and serves of Thai cuisine. The atmosphere is really beautiful. There is a small pond in front, palm trees and a sea view.”
DENİZ VE KUMSAL – SEA AND BEACH
Otelin konumu denize sıfır ve tam olarak Coral Island‘ın karşısında yer alıyor. Ancak bizim gittiğimiz dönemde gel-git gerçekten çok yoğun yaşanıyordu. Denize girmek için en uygun saat aralığı sabah saatlerinden öğlen 12:00 ye kadardı. Sonrasında sular yavaş yavaş çekiliyor.
English:“The location of the hotel is seaside and is exactly opposite Coral Island. However, during the time we went, the tide was really intense. The best time to get into the sea was from morning untill at noon. After that, the water is slowly withdrawn.”
Öğleden sonra sular metrelerce çekildiğinde görüntü bu şekilde oluyor. İleride yüzen teknelerin ucuna kadar yürüyebiliyorsunuz. Ancak kum balçık gibi olduğundan ve binlerce deniz böceği etrafta koşturduğundan deniz ayakkabısı ile yürümekte fayda var.
English:“This is how it looks when the water is pulled up by meters after lunch. You can walk to till the tip of the floating boats which is on distant. However, because thousands of sea beetles are running around, it is useful to walk with sea shoes.”
Tüm gün Coral Island’a giden tekneler otelin önünden bu şekilde geçiyor 🙂 Sanki yürüseniz adaya varacakmışsınız gibi bir his oluyor. Otelin havuz alanının büyüklüğü ve güzelliği de bu gel-git olayı yüzünden çok kıymetli. Burada kaldığımız süre boyunca hiç denize girmedik. Açıkçası çok büyük bir ihtiyaç da duymadık.
English:“The boat that goes to Coral Island all day passes this way in front of the hotel ? It makes feel like you are going to arrive to the island. The size and beauty of the hotel’s pool area is very valuable because of this tide. We’ve never been get in the sea for the time we’ve been here. Obviously we did not need it.”
AKTİVİTELER – ACTIVITIES
Otelin en sevdiğim özelliklerinden biri de, bir çok aktiviteyi ücretsiz sağlıyor olmasıydı. Yemek kursundan, yogaya kadar, Patong ve Old Town gibi iki önemli merkezer ücretsiz servisinin olmasından, her gün havuz kenarında sunduğu canlı müziğe kadar her şey çok mantıklı ve güzeldi. Dilerseniz ücretli olarak da katılabileceğiniz bir çok aktivite mevcut. Örneğin Coral Island turu gibi.Biz Coral Island’a gitmeye çok niyetlendik ve çok güzel olduğunu da duyduk, ancak koşturmaktansa dinlenmeyi tercih ettik. Özellikle şnorkel ve dalış için güzel olduğuna dair çok yazı okumuştum. Aklınızda olsun!
English:“One of the hotel’s favorite features was that it provided many activities free of charge. Everything was very beautiful, such as with free service to Patong and Old Town which are two important centers , cooking course, yoga and live music by the pool every day. There are many activities that you also can attend by paid. For example, like Coral Island tour. We really wanted to go to Coral Island. We also heard that it was very beautiful, but we preferred to rest. I have read a lot of articles especially about snorkeling and diving. Keep in mind!”
